Ninos Con Bendicion

The mission of Ninos Con Bendicion is to help provide a beneficial education for children in Guatemala who might otherwise not have the opportunity, including promoting Mayan culture through dance and music.

Your generous financial donation goes to covering the cost of the gardeners who work daily to grow fruits and vegetables for the community, orphanages, nursing homes and other Guatemalans in need. In addition, collected funds will cover a monthly grocery delivery to The Ninos Con Bendicion by FTLOMs in country assistant.

"Niños Con Bendición" / "Children with Blessing" was established in 2006 by Lesbi Chavez and her husband Juventino.  The goal continues to benefit children from impoverished families in San Antonio Aguas Calientes in order that they could receive a quality education and after-school support all to strengthen their cultural and family ties.

Children in the program learn Mayan and Guatemalan folk dance for public performances, are provided music lessons, and study together while sharing meals and experiences in a family-like atmosphere. This unique cultural and educational program empowers children to appreciate and transform their lives for the better.

Support for the group comes from yearly school sponsorships, calendar sales, entrance fees from dance performances, and other fund raising activities. 100% of all donations and profits are re-invested into childrens' programs and activities, plus help pay for a donation made monthly to the Ninos to cover the cost of gardeners who work daily to help grow vegetables and fruits for their community, orphanages, nursing homes and any other Guatemalans and need.

Lesbi and Tino created this special group out of their deep spiritual belief, coming, as they say, as a dream from God. Their dedication to the children is infectious, and many people from a diverse set of backgrounds volunteer to help carry out this special and rewarding work.
