Request for Donations to Purchase an apartment/home for a Family in need living in Venezuela

Good morning. As many of you are aware, for years we have primarily been supporting children and families living in Guatemala although we also support children and families in Venezuela by shipping boxes of necessities like food, clothing & items that are hard to purchase in Venezuela due to severe poverty.

For years For the Love of Mateo has been using an incredibly talented graphic designer with any marketing materials we needed after being referred to him by a friend and fellow For the Love of Mateo supporter who is from Venezuela herself. He does amazing work and if not for living in Venezuela where there are little to no jobs available, he easily would be one of the best in his field and would be highly sought after.

Victor Paez and his family have had an incredible amount of hardships over the years; from health issues, to financial issues to the uncertainty of the safety of their family due to the extreme unrest going on in their country. Although one of the major hardships was losing the home and he and his family had purchased due to corruption with their government. Since losing their home they have had to rent an apartment that costs them $250 a month rent and although this may not sound like much that amount represents 75% of their monthly income leaving only a little leftover to pay for food, basic utilities like electricity, phone & internet. Victor loves to work and really needs more work coming his way, so if you need an incredible graphic designer who will give you incredible prices for his work, let me know and i can send you his contact information & how best to reach him. I know he would be so grateful for any work he could get.

The reason i am reaching out to all of you today is ....

Victor found an apartment that is older in the center of Valencia that is being auctioned off for around $6000. He has managed to raise almost $1500 to go towards this by selling as much as he can via garage sales and any other way he can. I am coming to all of you humbly asking for your help; would any of you be willing to make a donation to For the Love of Mateo for any amount to help us raise funds quickly for this family so he can purchase it soon so it doesn't get sold to someone else. No amount of a donation is too small, as every bit will add up and allow us to help Victor & his family purchase this apartment to have as their home; so he and his family can have a safe place to live that would own and no longer have the expense of having to pay 75% of his monthly income towards rent.
